December 2012 Safe zones - North America

As I wrote yesterday, I will be doing some research trying to come up with our most promising safe zones on our earth heading into December 2012.

I will start my research on North America and publish my results ASAP. Early on, I can definitely say that the entire West Coast is a NO-GO area. This foremost due to the fault lines and the major outlook of severe earthquakes. In the west, especially in the USA, there is a huge number of nuclear reactors and thus to many radioactive danger zones in the event of likely meltdowns. Probably somewhere along the centerline of North America are the zones you and your familly would want to be located.

More on this when I publish my result and give North America a score following my criteria and point system. Stay tuned.

December 2012 - Our most promising safe spots?

During the next couple of days I will be doing some research and try to come up with each continents most promising safe spots heading towards December 2012. I will try to make some kind of score system and give each zone a grade based on different criteria and sum it up with a total overall score.

The different criteria will be:

  • Distance from nearest tectonic plate/plates (earthquakes).
  • Distance from the nearest known volcanic field.
  • Elevation above sea level.
  • Distance from nearest nuclear reactor facility.
  • Population density.
  • Distance from sea.
These were the most important I could come up with from top of my head. Maybe I'll remove or add some after a bit of research. Please comment if you disagree or have some important once you think should be added.

Stay tuned for results!

Apparently the Mayans predicted a massive earthquake for almost same time Japan’s earthquake occurred.

Another interesting article about the mayans I found. They were apparently able to predict the future with allmost scary precision. Not a good sign when we are getting this close to December 2012!

Maya Calendar - A bit more debth

This video has a bit more information about how the Maya Calendar workes. Not just the technicals but allso how the Mayans saw it.

Enjoy it HERE

Mayan Calendar - How exactly did it work?

According to the Mayan calendar, we are now living in the Mayan "end times." The Great Cycle of the Mayan Long Count calendar ends at the winter solstice in 2012 AD. But how exactly does this calendar work?

The Maya kept time with a combination of several cycles that meshed together to mark the movement of the sun, moon and Venus. They are combined toghether and work as super presice clockwork. Just to give you a clue of how highly accurate their  astrological timekeeping was, know this fact: Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days. That is only 34 seconds out. Pretty sick if you ask me!

Here is a short video explaining the technicals of the Mayan Calendar.

Latest news about December 21 2012 - The French people taking the Maya Calendar End, VERY serious.

Found this interesting article today covering how the French Government agency is preparing itself for mass suicides ahead of the Maya Calendars end on 21 December 2012.

Apparently, a rush of people travel to Bugarach, a town on a hilltop in the southwest of France that is said to survive the end of this "calendar cycle" according to rumours on the internet.
